Sector Depth, Research Types
The majority of industry reports clearinghouses cover research over a wide area of disciplines ranging from Healthcare to Telecommunications and Financial Services. Publisher coverage by these companies is limited to certain market research firms largely excluding resources such as trade associations, conference organizers, and other publishers of market research. Product coverage is focused on one-time, off-the-shelf market studies, while other products are neglected or not considered at all.
The Materials Market Research File (MMRF) provides sector depth covering a far more diversified field of resources. In addition, titles can be searched from a menu of ten research types, such as special reports, periodic reports, conference proceedings etc.
Timely Coverage of Last 10 Months
The likelihood of market studies becoming outdated increases with time. For this reason, the MMRF provides market information for a period of 10 months only, backdating from the current month. New titles enter the file as soon as they are released and products older than 10 months are dropped automatically. The file is continuously updated and also includes forthcoming titles. New arrivals can easily be tracked via an Alert List ("New Arrivals"), which is available for each of the main subject areas.
Linking vs. Commission Based Shop Distribution
We are not a reseller. The MMRF provides access to reports and services on each publisher`s website via links which are constantly monitored and checked, both manually and by an automated link checker. The links connect directly to the products and do not require lengthy navigating.
Do the links function properly?
While external links are rather a nuisance on many sites because they are not updated and monitored, ours work.
Links form the backbone of the database and are constantly checked, both manually, and by a state of the art, automated programme. Users, however, may encounter non-performing links. This may be due to technical reasons on the side of the server or network operator, or because the links have been (re)moved by the publisher. Server and network related technical problems are beyond our control. Any problems arising from products being no longer offered or presented under different links will be immediatley taken care of by our technical support team.
Non-performing links are rare and will not impede your work. We guarantee.
Focused on Competing Research. Titles are Sorted Giving Priority to Content Affinity
over Publishing Date for Easy Comparison
Considerable price differences exist for market studies of similar content and the leading research publishers fiercly compete for clients.
The MMRF`s aim is to ensure that buyers can choose among competing studies by using a neatly arranged system of subject areas and grouping content related titles together. In many cases, therefore, users will be able to instantly view at least two competing products. Content related products are selected and grouped together based on expert knowledge, not automated sorting algorithms.
Examples:
